Selecting the right participant is about more than just test scores. At XEBS, we take an applicant’s entire potential into account. Motivation and background are equally important.

To apply, applicants have to visit the XEBS website. On clicking the Apply Now option, they will be redirected to the emlyon website. The applicant will have to create an account and then select the program – Bhubaneswar-Paris: International Sports Management (S10) – and fill up the application form.

Please note that no fees have to be paid while filling up the application form.

On submitting the form, the application will be duly verified by the admission committee and then a link for a digital test will be shared with them on email and it will also be available on their makersboard (dashboard) with the same id and password which were used for creating the account.

A separate link will also be shared on email for the payment link after submission of the application.

The Application fees is INR 2000.

Applicants who will be found eligible after review of their duly completed online application form and digital test will receive a notification from the Admission Board for an online interview. The results would be declared within 10 days of the interview.

This is a two-year, full-time residential program (with hybrid mode delivery) having three semesters of six months each spread over Bhubaneswar, Paris and Lyon and four to six months of internships spread across the country or abroad. Please refer to the program brochure for more information.

Holders of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any field of study from a recognised Institute / University with minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Having completed a minimum of 180 ECTS credits or equivalent.

After duly submitting the application and paying the application fees of INR 2000, candidates will receive a confirmation email. The applications would be first validated (all mandatory documents/transcripts have to be uploaded) and then if shortlisted, candidates will get an invite for an on-line interview round over Zoom. Based on the performance in the interview, successful candidates will be offered admission.

Irrespective of the date of application, the interview process will start from the month of July 2023. You will get an email with all details if your application is shortlisted for the interview stage.

The session would start from July 2023 end. The exact date would be notified in the month of July 2023.

The program is fully residential, so the students have to report to the XIM, Bhubaneswar campus.

The residential expenses (approximately INR 80,000/- per year, per person) are NOT included in the course fee and will have to be paid separately along with the first installment of the fee. The boarding expenses (to be paid as actuals) are separate and NOT part of the above expenses.

There are no hostel facilities available for the Paris or Lyon campus of emlyon business school. Candidates have to take care of their travel, visa and accommodation on their own and the cost for it is NOT included in the tuition fees. However, the international office of the school can provide assistance in terms of relevant information.

The rankings for both emlyon business school and XIM University can give candidates the assurance on quality. At XEBS, we focus on employability and in imbibing the early maker spirit in all candidates to help them carve their own future. Having said that, we have already signed agreements with Decathlon India and Tony Parker Adequat Academy, Lyon for the benefit of our students. We are in talks with different sports companies, event management groups and other stakeholders for new agreements. The Department of Sports and Youth Services, Government of Odisha has partnered with us. We thrive in a vibrant sports ecosystem along with nine different high performance centres of excellence in sports disciplines based out of Odisha which are led by eminent sportspersons of India with support from big corporates. Not to forget, the existing career centres of both Xavier University and emlyon business school would guide candidates throughout the program. The Program does not guarantee 100% placement. But complete career advisory services will be provided to assist the students for their internships and final placements. For information, emlyon business school ranks second in France and 38th globally in Times Higher Education’s Global University Employability Rankings 2020.

No, it isn’t mandatory. You can submit it, if you have the valid score and you feel it’s relevant. A good score will improve the possibility of securing admission.

No, Letters of Recommendations are optional documents. But if you have any please add it/them to your file.

Only candidates who do not have an English medium educational background would be required to submit their English proficiency scores during application (TOEIC or TOEFL or IELTS or Cambridge CPE or PTE)

No, candidates do not need proficiency in French to be a part of the program. However, it will be taught to candidates as part of the curriculum. In case, you wish to work in France after the program, understanding the language and communicating in it would be important.

No, quality comes at a price and we appreciate candidates who understand the value of it.

If you are admitted, we will ask you to confirm your enrolment by making payment of 60 percent of the tuition fees (after deducting any scholarship that may have been granted to you).

Yes, 60 percent of the tuition fees would be paid at the time of acceptance of the admission offer and the rest 40 percent would have to be paid before the end of the second semester.

No, we do not have any tie-ups with any bank or financial institution so far. But we are working on this and would update the status, if it changes. However, both nationalised and private banks in India have regular scholar loan facility and the candidates can avail them by directly getting in touch with the suitable banks. Necessary documents, as required by the banks, will be furnished.
